We are excited to announce a significant update to PledgeBox that introduces a new category display feature on the Survey side. This enhancement is designed to provide backers with a clearer view of Add-ons, making it easier for them to navigate and understand the available options.
In the context of Pledge management, Add-ons refer to any products that creators set up as additional offerings during the crowdfunding post-campaign period. These Add-ons can be sold during the Survey phase, allowing backers to purchase extra items for themselves or as gifts for friends and family. By offering Add-ons, creators can increase their fundraising potential and provide more value to their supporters.
1. Create and Adjust Categories
To enhance user experience, PledgeBox enables creators to categorize their Add-on products. In the updated settings interface, users can create product categories or other classifications based on their specific needs. This flexibility ensures that backers can easily find and understand the options available to them, leading to a better Add-on page presentation.
2. Default Category Settings
All newly created Add-ons will be categorized under 'Add-ons' by default. This automatic categorization simplifies the process for creators, allowing them to focus on adding value to their projects. Additionally, creators can assign specific categories to each Add-on, enhancing the organization further.
3. Block Display by Category
In the second step of the Survey, all Add-ons will be displayed in blocks according to the categories set by the creator. This structured display not only improves the visual clarity of the Survey but also helps backers quickly identify the Add-ons that interest them.
