You awake in a dark room, lit only by the glow of an ancient computer carved with runes. You get up to look at the monitor and find an owl, bearing a message:
Yȍụ͚r wo̬ͭ̉r̛l͓͐̒d͗ h̸͍͎as e̅ͦn̨̦̼cͥou̝͇ñ̯̮t̫e̠ͣ̽r̜̣ͬe̕͠ḓ a̙̓ f͌ą͛ͤta̷̰ͦl̸̰̓ er͓͕rō̖͑ř̕
You stare at the message, frozen, until the owl begins to scream and thrash. As its violent blows shake the monitor, the screen begins to crack, first in one place and then another, until the glass shatters. You throw yourself back as the owl explodes out from behind the screen and flies out the window behind you, its shrieks ringing in your ears.
When you open your eyes again, you see the owl has left a small token in your hands: a deck of cards.
Echy: I gotta say, this is dope. I love the vibe the creator got going there it's like a futuristic, mystical, cyber, occult, vaporwave vibe and I'm all in for that. Really digging the card designs as well, they each have their own unique character to them but in a way that they all somehow work together. This is definitelyyyyyy a tarot deck that's calling out for me to get it.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Dracula was actually the good guy? Well, wonder no more with this thrilling new comic book series by Matt Wagner and Kelley Jones. Dracula: The Impaler is a unique take on the classic tale of the vampire count, presenting him as a dark but conflicted anti-hero fighting against evil and protecting the innocent. With its intriguing story and breathtaking artwork, this series is sure to captivate your imagination and take you on an epic adventure of blood and danger.
Cosma: I think this Dracula book by Matt Wagner and Kelley Jones looks like it will be a thrilling and exciting read. The artwork is incredible, and I like the creative concept of Dracula as an anti-hero. I also think that this story will be an interesting departure from the classic and well-known tale of Dracula. I am looking forward to reading this book and exploring a different side of Dracula. I think it will be a fantastic read for anyone interested in adventure, horror, and the dark side of humanity.
A strange and glorious treasure from one of the greatest artists of our time: a "Creepy Crawlers” woven blanket featuring new original work by the one and only Charles Burns.
Echy: It’s Halloween, my friends! Throw away that old black light tapestry that has been hanging in your house for who knows how long! Behold the evil power of the creepy flying head tapestry! Mwahahahahaha (evil laugh)
As the air grows thick with pumpkin spice and jack-o'-lanterns take over the neighborhood, come dive into the eerie and haunting world of Witchman. This riveting new series from acclaimed artist Tom Scioli is the perfect blend of suspense, thrills, and chills, making it the perfect Halloween read. With its spooky atmosphere and jaw-dropping artwork, Witchman is the ultimate comic book experience for fans of all things scary and supernatural. So grab your cauldron and broomstick, and prepare to be swept away by the witchcraft of Witchman.
Cosma: First, let me just say that I love the unique and imaginative concept behind Witchman. The idea of a modern-day, superheroic occult detective is both entertaining and thought-provoking. The artwork is also stunning, combining traditional comic book artwork with elements of horror, fantasy, and noir. There's an impressive amount of detail in the illustrations, and the use of color sets the tone perfectly for the mysterious and sometimes creepy world of Witchman. It is about this guy called Witchman, and he has these magical powers and stuff. He's kind of like Batman in a way, but with, you know, magic. The whole thing just looks really cool, and I can't wait to see what Tom Scioli does with it. From what I've seen so far, I'm really impressed. Definitely check it out if you're into that kind of stuff.
The island’s magic seems to be fading. The gates to the temple are blocked by magic barriers, forest spirits are vanishing, and magical protections seem to have turned on the island’s residents. Travel through Momo’s memories to learn the history of the island and her friends, and maybe you can discover where things went wrong and gain entry to the island's temple!
Echy: When I clicked on this page, It just came to me that I played Pokémon Emerald, so I have a good impression of it. I can’t understand why this project has so few backers, is it because of the [slightly] rough art style? But you guys can even tolerate Cruetly Squad (which I also like)!
As the spirits and ghouls of Halloween roam the land, spice up your work space with the spellbinding MesmoGlobe Luna. This eye-catching kinetic desk toy is a perfect blend of magic and mayhem, sure to put a spell on you with its mesmerizing movements and sparkling lights. Whether you use it as a desktop buddy or a spellbinding fidget toy, this is the perfect companion for any witch or wizard on the go.
Cosma: I love this! The magnetic spheres and light colors create an engaging and calming effect. This toy has a great balance between fun and function. I can see how this could add a peaceful vibe to any office space, or provide the perfect desk fidget for someone that's restless or anxious. I nearly get lost in watching its relaxing movements.
